This is a blog spot for the Nov 24 Machu Picchu Classic Inca Trail hike organized by SAS travel. A group of 15 from all corners of the globe .. US, Australia, India, Ireland, Brazil and of course .. UK took part in this fantastic journey across the high slopes of the Andes. They traversed the same path that the Inca's took to the sacred site of Machu Picchu. This 4 day hike was a treat of a lifetime and we are trying to capture our memories here.

The Rainbow People
Only Andy refused to take part (cos his poncho was black and boring)!!! It was a ten minute stop to unpack the ponchos and within minutes the rain stopped anyway.

at least i could justify buying the rain coat :) .. the weather God's really smiled on us and we were lucky to have an almost rainless hike
